Happy Tuesday friends!!
This week we are away for the Amazing Life Escape up in Maine, where us & 5 other couples are making the choice to unplug a good bit and focus on each other again rather than the rest of the world. I know it’s going to be a, well, amazing couple of days. And it doesn’t hurt that this house we’re staying in is ridonculus!! I can’t wait to show you more, but for now let’s just say: two kitchens, a theater room, hot tubs, saunas, those crazy showers with the jets coming from every direction, and a view that will take your breath away! Last night we kicked off the retreat with a personal chef whipping up dinner, and now I think every night’s dinner should be made that way.
Um, for the rest of my life!! :)
So needless to say, for the next few days we’ll be a little more off the radar while we soak it all in. But we hope to come back rested & recharged, and ready to rock out the rest of this season! In the mean time, scroll down for a few morning announcements!

*In case you missed it, we are heading to Cambodia in January (the 14th-21st) for The Raddest Photo Trip Ever. We just got word that everyone who signs up to come with us this week by November 15th will also be receiving a PASS Passport that will give you lifetime unlimited event uploads! The Passport normally goes for $1500 and that’s also how much a seat to the Cambodia trip is. So for all of you out there who have been hoping to purchase a Passport (IF they even become available again), this is a way to both lock in the Passport and basically get your seat for pretty much FREE! **What is Walk Through?? Walk Through is kind of the Super Bowl of all our workshops, because it’s two days of basically everything we teach combined in to one super-workshop: posing, lighting, marketing, branding, dealing with all those trouble spots on a wedding day, creating systems that stick, post-processing, goal setting and of course “The Why.” We start on Day 1 walking through our mock wedding as if it is the real deal: the getting ready, a dark ceremony, an unruly bridal party, shooting portraits on a time crunch, shooting reception details in the dark, first dance, toasts etc. It’s about 12 hours of teaching! Then we bring it back on Day 2 for all the other side that goes into running a wedding business: marketing, branding, pricing, workflow, editing, client experience, running the first meeting, getting your booking rate to the 90% range, building word of mouth with your clients and then building a “secondary circle” and a freight train of momentum, vendor relationships, post-processing and creating a signature style, and more! That day is another 10 hours of teaching or so. And then we end the whole thing with a wine & s’mores party at our place, and it’s usually midnight before everyone leaves!!
