Happy Wednesday friends!
So that was supposed to say “good morning friends,” but it’s taken me all morning to finally get these guys narrowed down enough to make it into one post. And once you see their wedding, I know you’ll understand why.
That’s because these guys from the beginning, from the biggest over-arching theme to the smallest detail, were determined to put together a day that was so them. To not worry about what the “rules” say, but instead to write their own. And from their food truck reception (complete with the burrito cart that started it all their Freshmen year at Yale!) to the surprise first dance to the incredible paper suite all of which Sarah painstakingly made herself….these guys nailed it!
Theirs was a day of honesty and real emotion. A day where the details were amazing, but the love was even better. It was a day of laughter. And saying what you need to say. And being best friends. Who understand that the perfect day would not be complete without a polka dot veil and a grilled cheese sandwich.
In short, it was the sort of day that reminds us why we’re in this in the first place.
And for that we are forever grateful.
Sarah & Dan we LOVE you guys! (like love LOVE you). Love like this always…the world needs more best friends like you.
So much love,
