Hey everybody! I’m Ashley, one half of Jen + Ashley Photography (and former J&M mentor session graduates!) When Justin & Mary asked me to come along on the What’s Next Tour, my immediate response was YES! But when they asked me to help style the set and the crew I was even MORE excited!

There are ten stops and you know that immediately one of the first things I thought about was…what am I going to wear?! Luckily, J&M and the entire crew were all wondering the same thing! Styling is always something I’ve been super interested in, so I was beyond honored when Mary asked if I could help everyone out so we all were looking good on the tour!

The goal for me when styling someone is never to make the person feel like they are being made into someone else. Justin & Mary already have great style as is, so it was important to me to make sure they still felt like J&M throughout the tour, with just a little something extra to reflect the high end feel of the tour.

When thinking about the overall vibe and “look” for the tour, I thought about what words would describe J&M’s style to me. Of course, preppy comes to mind, but also sophisticated, classic, elegant, chic, glamorous, and modern. Pulling from the stores I know they love to shop in, and including key pieces they already had at home, we’ve put together a new look for J&M and the What’s Next Crew in each city, pulling inspiration from the cities and venues we’ve been visiting along the way.

Part of the fun has been not only styling everyone on the bus, but also seeing the looks the attendees have been rocking too! We’re encouraging everyone to have FUN when deciding what to wear for the tour stops! Check out the design boards below for some inspiration and insight into The What’s Next Tour style!
