Introducing Walk Through Toronto: Alice in Wonderland

Happy Friday y’all!!

And what better way to kick off your weekend than by unveiling our next Walk Through theme. For Toronto, for whatever reason from the very beginning I knew I wanted to do something a little edgier for this stop. I dunno, I guess part of me just banked on the idea that the Canadians would be down to rock something a little more unconventional. And when inspiration struck, it struck hard. As soon as it came to me the ideas just started pouring out like crazy. I realized I wanted to do an Alice in Wonderland theme, but y’know not all pink cheeked & pristine like the Disney version. I wanted something darker….moodier…..a little more mythical. And that led me to Tim Burton’s version on Netflix. As soon as it started, I knew we had found our muse. The contrast of color and bleak skies, stark bare branches and red & white roses, high key makeup and a rock & roll take on Alice’s blue dress. And clocks, there would be a lot of clocks. Oh yea, this one is gonna be good!!

I have a whole new appreciation of how much darn work this must be for you in a bunch of different cities … an across the border!!!!
