John Audubon House Wedding: Jenn & Mike (Part II)

And now….the rest of the story.

First up, we’ll start with some of those killer details that we’ve just come to expect from our J&M Brides! :) I know, we’re totally spoiled! And of course, here is the group of insanely talented vendors that came together to make it all possible:

Location: John Audubon Center
Caterer/Baker: Jeffrey Miller
Floral Design: Christine Brown of Market Fresh Flowers
DIY Details (place cards, wish basket): Bride & Groom and Groom’s sister
DJ: Steve Seegers of DJ Collision
Dress: Priscilla of Boston

LOVE those table numbers!! And how beautiful are the flowers provided by Market Fresh Flowers?

Instead of a guest book, Jenn & Mike opted for these “wish rocks” that guests could write messages on. J&M (not us, the couple!) will then keep them in their home together. LOVE this idea!!

But just be careful what your friends may write: “You guys are nerds”

Just when the light was getting really delish, we headed out for another set of portraits with Jenn & Mike.

How fantastic is this porch? I love love love these old school portraits Justin went for!!

I adore this one too!

The introductions were crazy awesome! And pay attention to that fedora. It makes repeat appearances.

Mr & Mrs.

Jenn’s sister & MOH said her speech wasn’t TOOOO long. :) She is hilarious! Love her!

When Mike’s brother stepped up to make his speech, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I especially love this shot Justin grabbed of him in front of the memorial to his & Mike’s dad who they lost last year.

The cake cutting got fiesty!

LOVE this guy!

So it turns out Jenn knows the Thriller dance. And of course we all wanted to see it!

In the ay-er, ay, ay-er. Ay-er.

A super cute shot of two of our favorite past bride & grooms of all time, Leslie & Brian! LOVE when our weddings turn into big ole reunions! Muah!

Jenn & Mike, thank you guys for EVERYTHING! I can’t tell you what an honor it was to be there with you that day. You two shine. From the inside out. For real.

So much love,

  1. Jana

Wow…that fedora really does get around! What a little player ;)

  9. Michael Turano

You guys went above and beyond my expectations. I have it on pretty good authority that one of my guests (who is also a photographer) will be contacting you to try and book you for their wedding. There is no better endorsement than that! You are the best at what you do.

  10. Ronnie James

Love the bridesmades dresses! Does anyone know what brand they or or where I can find them? Great pictures!

  11. Alison

I love that you guys capture the emotional personal stuff like the words of Dad in addition to all of your other amazing shots. Gorgeous wedding and I LOVE that porch!

  12. Nicole Glenn

Beautiful!! Delicious light for the bride and groom portraits! Love the simplicity of the centerpieces and I want to run my finger through that cake sooo bad. :) Amazing work as usual!

  16. michele dyson

Wow, the two of you are so incredibly talented…..and I LOVE your twitter status right now; isn’t that the whole purpose of what we do, make people "feel" the moment. Well, you have nailed it. So fabulous:)

  17. Jennifer Turano

Hi Ronnie Believe it or not the bridesmaids dresses are from David’s Bridal. I had seven fabulous women in the party who live all over the east coast so I thought David’s would be convenient since they have a ton of locations for fittings pickups etc

  18. Erica Velasco

    The backlighting is amazing!

  19. cassandra-m

BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS…beautiful couple and it looks like a FUN group of people!

  20. Tira J

What a beautiful wedding. Okay, confession. The picture of them on the porch, I adore!!! I just had this crazy flash forward of 100 years when their wedding album is handed down to their families and that picture is in there. Such a classic. And I love the colors of everything. Beautiful wedding.

  28. Eileen Broderick

Quite possibly my favorite weddng details ever. Love the flowers, the table numbers, the cake. Gorgeous. And the memorial to Mike’s dad was beautiful. How moving that his Dad wrote them a message before he passed away….Here come the tears. This was a beautiful wedding…and the images are lovely.

  29. Ray

So many gorgeous shots! Can’t name em’ all. So I’ll only name a few. =P I love the group bridal shot in front of the ivy-covered house. AWESOME! The shot where you headed back out to do portraits, of Jenn & Mike kissing, is so beautiful. And that shot with Jenn laughing at her sister’s toast is wonderful. I love how you capture moments like that. Oh and the Thriller shots are awesome too! There’s just too many to choose from. =D
