Locusts on Hudson Wedding: Kavi & David (Part IV)

Good Morning! We are up bright and early to kick start your Thursday with the final piece of the Kavi & David wedding puzzle. Y’know, proverbially. :) So without further ado, here is their reception!

We started off with some portraits of these two right after the ceremony. Because see, there was this willow tree. And the LIGHT!!! The sweet, delicious, butter for your popcorn light.

Meanwhile, the cocktail hour was in full swing. I mean, how could it NOT be with these guys running the show.

Dooodley Doodley Doodley

Yep bow ties AND trumpeteers. Just in case you were wondering.

Bow buh buh-bow buh buh-bow buh buh-bow

LOVED this idea for the place cards! They are matches from India strung on a clothes line!

Huge thanks to Food In Motion for the amazing meal!!

And to Saipua for putting together some of the most exquisite flowers we’ve ever seen! I adore the pineapples!

Everything was so light and delicate. Saipua ROCKED the house!! I loved working with these ladies! Definitely check them out if you are looking for an incredible florist in NY!

How cute are these table numbers? The number of pineapples is the same as the table number.

I want to give HUGE props to Jill Weis and her whole team at Cartwright & Daughters Events for the incredible job they did on the tent and set up inside. Everything was absolute perfection. I can’t wait to work with them again!

Kavi & David did a quick wardrobe change before the reception and I loved the cool 1920s vibe of David’s look!

Is there anything classier than a white bow tie?

The toasts! Kavi’s parents

David’s parents

Kavi’s brother & sister in law

David’s sister

No, really. CHEERS!!!

Then it was time to get their dances on.

Mini ice creams & signature drinks? Yes please!

LOVE this shot Justin grabbed!

Or wait, is it this one?? :)

So David is a singer and some of the guys he used to play with got up to jam.

Cigars AND bow ties. Yep!

LOL! Things were getting a little crazy at this point….

….so we’ll just end with this!

Kavi & David, thank you for everything! It was our honor to be there with you and we wish so many wonderful things for your life together. Love just like this. Always.
