Married: Sarah & John (part I)

Sometimes it’s the tie that binds. It’s what holds it all together. Makes you remember what’s important. Reminds you to live and love and hold on to each day like there’s no tomorrow. Gives you a reason to never forget how precious love is.

It’s comfort and kindness. Sweetness and sacrifice. Today and tomorrow all rolled into one. It’s the start of a new life without ever once forgetting the life you had, the life that made you who you are today. It’s the courage to go out and love with your whole heart. Because somebody first loved you that way. And at the end of the day, every day, never once forgetting.. that it’s always the tie that binds.

Married: Sarah & John

Sarah & John were married on a glorious November day in a Burberry themed wedding. Not because it’s fancy or fashionable, but because it reminded them of him. Made them feel closer to him. See it all started with a tie…his tie….and on a day when they were missing John’s dad so much, it was amazing to look around and see him everywhere. He was there as a reminder to all of us to love with our whole hearts, to be the kind of person we want to be right now, to hold on to the people that we love with both hands. And I can think of no better start to a brand new life, than a tie like that. Sarah & John, there are no words to say to thank you enough for allowing us in to your lives. To share in such an important day. To be there as you promised forever. My hope for you is that you will always love just like you did that day: fully, with your whole hearts, living for right now, and never missing a chance to say I love you. We are honored to call you friends.

So much love,
J&M

Sarah had one of the most beautiful and unique headpieces I’ve ever seen! It was actually four parts: a tulle birdcage and the three extra pieces you see below.

Sarah’s ring is just gorgeous!

How beautiful is Sarah’s bouquet? The feathers and lace were just perfect! Courtesy of the amazing folks at Fleur de Lys

Gawh-geous!!

In memory of his father, John carried these details in remembrance of him.

His father’s cufflinks.

The tie that binds

A beautiful Mont Blanc pen.

John made one handsome groom!

I loved the bow on the back of Sarah’s gown.

Sarah you are stunning!

Absolutely stunning!!

A few shots outside before heading off to the church.

This picture makes my heart happy!

Sarah and John were married at Laurelton Hall where Sarah went to school. This bell hangs outside the chapel and they ring it every time one of their girls is about to get married!!

In memory of his father, John and his brother lit a candle on the altar.

Sarah’s dad was so emotional right before the ceremony. C’mon just look at that face!

Here we go!!

The ceremony was emotional from beginning to end! Love this next series of Sarah and her dad.

I love the story behind why Sarah & John choose to have a burberry themed wedding. Such a sweet sentiment and so creative. Beautiful, beautiful photos. My favorites would have to be the series of Sarah and her dad walking down the aisle. Never seen photos of the dad tearing up as he walks his little girl down the aisle. So cute! Awwww! ;D

Gorgeous pictures in my old high school! I don’t think I ever pictured the chapel like that. Her dress is one I longed to try on. Also, I hate to be the grammar police, but it’s Lauralton not Laurelton. I have to represent after wearing the navy jumper for 4 years.

  29. Kelly McPherson

Any idea where he cute shoes are from? they’d look great with my gown! Beautiful pictures!

@Kelly: I believe they were from a designer on etsy, but I’m not 100% sure!
