She was a cheerleader for Florida. He was a football player for Auburn. And just like that, it could have been over. Because no self-respecting die-hard Florida girl would ever give an Auburn boy the time of day. Except that… it wasn’t over. Because lucky for her, this was one very charming Auburn boy. And rivalry or no rivalry, all football and loyalties aside…sooner or later charming wins out every time.

So these two went ahead and fell in love and now they are getting married, where they will no doubt live blissfully & happily ever after for the rest of their days.

Except for football season….when all bets are off. :)

Meet: Jill & Russ

Jill & Russ are getting married next March in Miami, which we will be flying down to shoot. So when it came time to do their “Get to Know You” shoot, they decided to come up to us. :) Since the vibe of their wedding will be “Black Tie BBQ,” they were looking for a location with a sophisticated garden feel. And we knew just the place: Eolia Mansion at Harkness, of course! We had the best time hanging out with them and talking football (Russ actually knows Pat White from playing him in high school, so as you can imagine we were BFF right from the start!), and then finishing up with an amazing dinner at The Place where we sat outside and ate lobster from an open fire. As you do.

J&R we absolutely cannot WAIT to see you guys again in Miami for the big day! And in the mean time if the Florida/Auburn rivarly gets too rough this Fall, y’know for the sake of the wedding and all you could just always agree to both root for WVU.

I’m just sayin. :)
