Stuff Julia Loves: Pumpkin Pancakes!

Fall has arrived in Connecticut. The leaves are changing, the temperatures have dropped and pumpkins are popping up on our neighbor’s front porches. School buses crowd the streets and the last of my summer dahlias are starting to fade. This weekend, Mike and I are going to celebrate Fall. We’re going to switch out our pineapple sorbet candles for cinnamon stick, retrieve our sweaters from the attic, and take the dogs for a hike to admire the changing season. We’ll plant some mums, buy apples from the farmer’s market and make butternut squash soup for dinner. It’s going to be heavenly :)

So in honor of Fall, I thought today would be the perfect day to give something away. One of my favorite seasonal treats!

The Spiced Pecan Pumpkin Pancake Mix (say that three times fast!) from William Sonoma! How are you going to celebrate Fall? Leave a comment in the box below and one lucky commenter will receive a tin of their very own!

And be sure to check back in tomorrow, because I have a very special piping hot stack of pancake session coming your way!

Fall lovingly yours,
…&J2

I divide the house in half with pumpkin scents on one side and pine/cedar on the other. I can’t help it, I just love fall and I love that it leads into the christmas season. Then I cook like crazy and all my friends start to not like me because I send the food their way, lol.
