Justin sent this to me today.
Because see, we have our own little version of passing love notes in class. Throughout the day, we send these links to each other. We’ll type furiously, scroll up and click send, and then wait ever so impatiently while the email bounces around the great expanse of the world wide web making pit stops in singapore, malaysia and Paris…you know, for the crepes….before finally landing back in our own living room just three short feet away.
It’s easier than getting up and walking around the corner. Clearly. More romantic too.
Because every time I see his name in my inbox, my heart flutters just a little. And I’m always tempted to write back and say: Do you like me? Check yes, no or maybe. :)
Today he sent me an article from marketing genius extraordinaire, Seth Godin, that was very on point with what we were just talking about in New Orleans with our ideal clients/ “Clients Turned Friends” and how important they are to building the kind of business you can be proud of. Because why, class? Say it with me: the ideal clients you already have will go out and do the hard work to bring you even more ideal clients just like them. Who are AWESOME! Which is just reason #4,376 why we love our clients turned friends so much!!
Check it out, it’s a good read! But be warned, once you start reading Seth’s stuff, you just may have to restrain yourself from sending him love notes every single day! I’m just sayin…
