The Frederick Hotel WV Wedding: Kelsey & John Martin
Oh my goodness you guys! I hope you are settled in & comfortable because this is going to be one massive post! That’s because this is one of our all time FAVORITE weddings ever!! And we should have known going in, because it just so happens that Kelsey is the cousin (and past bridesmaid) of one of our other all time favorite couples: Rachel & Terry. So it must just run in the family! Add to that, that we got to work with one of our all time FAVORITE planners, Belle of B.Belle Events….and you have all the makings of a signature J&M wedding!!
From beginning to end, this wedding just oozed J&M classic style. From the ahhhh-mazing vintage crown veil that Kelsey wore to John Martin’s white dinner jacket to Kelsey’s grandmother’s gown that she changed into at the end of the night. Not to mention the perfect classic red lips & red nails, a 1920s style ring, and the incredible backdrop of The Frederick Hotel itself. But most of all, the wedding was just so us because it was first and foremost SO them. It was honest, it was candid, and it was SO full of beautiful, incredible REAL emotion. And for me, that is what made this wedding right there. From the very first moment we heard John Martin toast his bride at the rehearsal dinner, we knew this was one very special couple surrounded by two very special families (who also made us feel like family!) And we just felt so incredibly honored to be there.
Kelsey & John Martin, we LOVE you guys! Right down to your Country Roads singing ways. The football player got the cheerleader….but even more importantly, two hearts that were MADE for each other found their way home.
SO much love!

Such a lovely wedding! Especially the portraits and the sweet polka dotted silk of him.
wow I love this whole series. I cannot even say what I love most: the getting ready, the black and whites, the details, the portrait session, the moments…. just timeless and beautiful
