The School Sessions

Happy Tuesday friends!!

Today we are SO excited to tell you about an amazing new project that we are so honored to be partnering with, founded by our good friend Jamie Delaine! The School Sessions is a one-day event across the globe happening on Sunday, April 12, 2015 to raise $200,000 to build a school in Haiti. How incredible is that?? The idea is that photographers all over the world sign up online to photograph one (or more!) sessions on this one day and donate 100% of the proceeds to The School Sessions. With the goal being that together we can hit $200,000.

So what can $200,000 do?

A lot! If together we can raise the $200,000, that will be enough to buy the land and build a ten-classroom school for 220 students. These are 220 kids who might not otherwise get the chance to go to school. Their previous building was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake and these children (ages 3 to 16) are in need of a safe, clean place to learn and grow.

So, how can YOU get involved? There are FOUR ways!

1. If you’re a photographer, contact The School Sessions TODAY and get signed up to participate!

2. If you’re not a photographer but know one, please share this with them and encourage them to join us!

3. If you want to donate directly, contact The School Sessions to set that up!

4. We’re offering one anniversary session at a special rate on April 12 and donating 100% of the proceeds to The School Sessions. So if you’re interested in getting some photos with us and helping an AMAZING cause at the same time, contact us today!

By empowering hundreds of photographers across the world with a simple way to give back, together we will meet our goal. Join us in Making Haiti’s Future Bright!!

This is incredible. Love it. And you guys. I wish we could do an anniversary session, but I just made a (small-wish-I-could-do-more!) donation on the main site. Will share this now though!
