I arrived home on Friday night travel weary and so so ready to hug my husband and then snuggle our dog. And as we all cuddled on the couch and watched a movie it was hard not to have my mind drift back over the past two weeks. And then over the past month. And I remembered it all, with a smile. We’ve completed four of ten stops on our tour and all of them have been simply amazing. We’ve dreamed and design boarded and then watched as each stop takes on a life of its own.
Almost three months ago, we put out a call for style interns. And you responded. And as I sit here, gearing up for San Francisco and Seattle, I can’t help but wonder what we would do without you. So I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you to all of you for volunteering your time. You answer my countless emails. You drive me to Michaels, and Target, and Trader Joes, to Starbucks and Pinkberry, and Jamba Juice. You help me trouble shoot when champagne glasses tip over, welcome tables aren’t quite coming together, and the icing on the cupcakes melts. You spend hours tying bows, superglueing favors, and putting berries into water goblets. And amazingly, you do it all, with a smile. And for that, more than anything, I can’t thank you enough. I hope you realize just how much you are appreciated and loved!
Four down. Six to go. Six more dreams becoming a reality. Six more stops that come together through the hard work of everyone involved. Six more amazing groups of people I get to work with. I can’t wait!
